September 2nd 2005 – Working Stiffs

Friday we headed out for work at a company in North Sydney. If traveling and living together wasn’t enough, now we were working together. You sure can learn a lot about another person when working with them – especially when you spend the whole day peeling stickers and putting them on envelopes. I wish I could share some juicy gossip, but really we just spent the whole day talking amongst each other about aimless things to pass the excruciating boredom of mailing all of Sydney. Next week we get to fill the envelopes – yippee! People kept telling us that Australians were pretty laid back in work place and Friday afternoon when Laure, myself and our two bosses were chatting it up in the boardroom with a beer and wine in hand we realized why that stereotype exists.
