September 11th 2005 – Isn’t Sydney Winter Great!

Sunday we took advantage of a lazy morning and slowly headed out for some basic errands – laundry and groceries. We also benefited from our waiting to check out a community centre nearby with courts on the roof! We’re thinking of playing an occasional game of tennis or I might play pick up soccer if I get around to it. After lunch, we were off through Darling harbor to check out an African Awareness Exhibition and then out to Hyde park to laze around reading and tossing a Frisbee. To our surprise, there was an orchestra performing next to the Anzac memorial in the park when we arrived and we sat ourselves nearby to benefit from the tunes. The two of us spent the rest of the afternoon working on our sunburns, all the while thinking – isn’t Sydney winter great!
